Old Bleach were proud to see Robert Kirkwood and Sam Barkley playing at the International Under 19 series between Ireland, Scotland and the Channel Islands. The event was held at the Jim Baker Stadium on 5th and 6th April 2014. This was Sam Barkley’s first outing in an Ireland shirt whilst Robert Kirkwood has played in quite a few International series. Both Ireland and Scotland won 12 games each with Scotland clinching the series on shot difference.

Doesn’t he scrub up well – Robert is becoming an old hand on the International team hard to believe he is only 19!
